A survey by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) to some entertainment centres on December 31st revealed heavy patronage especially at the night clubs, restaurants, theatres and beaches.
At a popular joint around the Cantonment Post Office, a lady who confessed to the GNA, that she was a prostitute said the night assignment was becoming dangerous as armed robbers and fraudsters exploit the profession.
She said occasional Police swoop was also jeopardising the joy of their nocturnal activities.
Some of the ladies told the GNA: "We dress to fit the occasion, some of us are here to entertain and be entertained," while others on purely business terms.
"There is no other way to attract our targets than to appear exotic to push the men to a highly susceptible sexual stimulation point to steal a glance."
