Following his father’s footsteps, Shafik Mahama, a son of former President John Dramani Mahama has graduated with a degree in Media and Mass Communication.
Former President Mahama posted photos of the graduation ceremony on Instagram, congratulating Shafik and expressed regret that he was unable to attend the ceremony, which took place this week.
Joining Shafik on his “great day” was his mum, Mrs Lordina Mahama, spotting a new hairstyle and his siblings.
Former President Mahama posted:, "Mum and sibling solidarity! Wish I were there with you guys. Congratulations."
Mr Mahama was in India this week, attending the 52nd annual meeting of the African Development Bank (AfDB), hence his inability to attend the graduation ceremony.
Auntie Oona was there to support.
"How time flies! Congratulations @shafindro You graduate today. Proud of you son," Mr Mahama added.

No need to tell us the institution. Look at the last pic and you will see it is an Arab country, Dubai most likely.
I congratulate Shafik on his achievement. You could've knocked out readers curiosity by adding the institution. Anyway it's ok, I will follow you up on your profile. Ayekoo!!
