The Member of Parliament for Asawase, Muntaka Mubarak, has been involved in an accident.
The accident occurred at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region when a truck rammed into the Toyota Land Cruiser of the MP on Saturday. The truck hit the passenger side of the vehicle, damaging two doors and destroying a side glass.
Mubarak, who is also the minority chief whip, was not injured in the accident.
The MP took to Facebook to thank Allah for saving his life.
“Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah!!! Allah Saved my life today in a fatal Accident. I’m most grateful and thanks to all my well wishers. Allahu Akbar!,” he wrote.

This is just a small accident, the damage to the car is not very serious. Stop being dramatic Mr MP.
ei ei ei! Muntakha, Muntakha. You survived the accident without a scratch, no one died and so how can it be fatal? As for this one dii333, you dey exaggerate paa . ah! Anyway an motor traffic accident is still an accident. I'm not an NDC sympathizer but be it as you have a family and young kids, and you didn't attempt to bride Boakye Agyarko I wish you all the best. But please get your vocabs right wai.
this one, don't blame peacefm, but rather blame the MP, who should have known that in English language, an accidental is described as "fatal" if someone dies directly as a result of the accident. In his circumstance, "near fatal accident" should be the description.
Peacefmonline should try to do better. How can someone involved in a fatal accident be thanking God for saving his life. The word fatal has a specific meaning. Or is it the case that your journalist don't have dictionaries.
Ndcba you are not Ghanaba. You are as st*pid as your ndc republic, what prevented you fo*ls in parliament to send their case to court? Didn't the deputy speaker said he was sending it to court and your Ayariga and others run to the speaker to deal with it in parliament hence the committee? I don't understand why the NPP play it nice with these evils? These people do not deserve a pinch of nice treatment because they will use it against you ndc are plain evils. Anyway! Muntaka be gracious to those who have given you a haven and made you who you are today,Asanteman has been nice to you but you planned with your ndc to destroy them Allah is still alive and watching .
too many illiterates walking about. do people read at all. read ooooo read. they are reporting what the man said. were you there. the man said he was involved in a fatal accident and you are there commenting nonnsennssee. idioooots and ilittereates who do not read but go on insulting. fuoooullllls
So what makes this a fatal accident? what was the fatality?
The lies and denial you testified to in the bribery saga is coming closer. repent before the unthinkable comes. You swore by the Koran and yet you told a lie. Think twice about your family and repent and also confess, directly or indirectly.
So why is this a fatal accident? Illiterate journalists
Why call it a fatal accident if you have reported the death of anyone involved in the accident? Is it that you don't know what a fatal accident is, or you don't consider those lives lost worth mentioning, i.e. if it was truly a fatal accident? I hope it is the former
