Yesterday, John Dramani Mahama had the power to disregard a Supreme Court ruling, and he freed three people who were jailed by the apex court. Today, he cannot secure a bail for his party's deputy general secretary.
Yesterday, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo could not prevent rowdy party youth from pelting his private residence with stones. Today, some people living close to that residence have been forced to vacate, and he has changed the name of the most important edifice in Ghana.
These two men have no power except what we the people give to them. And they should not forget to use it for the things that matter most to the welfare of the people who own the power.

Manasseh Azure, haven't you mis-informed your good self? THE JUBILEE HOUSE IS QUITE DISTINCTLY NOT THE COLONIAL FLAGSTAFF HOUSE. THE FORMER WAS PLANNED AND BUILT BY EX-PRESIDENT AGYENIM AGYEKUM KUFUOR THE LATTER BY THE BRITISH GOLD COAST ADMINISTRATION. BOTH EDIFICES STAND NOW SIDE BY SIDE WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED. EVEN NOW.
what sense does this post make. i for one see no meaning in this his post
Brilliant observation! Indeed power belong to the people and no other person, so, politicians need to take the people serious when their anger is on you. Don't pretend to be with them when in opposition and think they are fo*ls, and never mistreat them when you are in power and think they can be taken for granted, for they are the ones to make and unmade a government.
There is time for everything. I remember very well, before 2016 election, koku Anyidoho was daring NANA ADDO to try to bring confusion if he is a man in the country. Now koku is in trouble under the man he dare. Time changes.
A word to the wise.........
All these situations should teach us lessons but hope Ghanaians will see what the writer is talking about.
