I’m a northerner and our parents always telling us to be careful else we are would be responsible for anything that happens to us, there is no way my parents would follow me should I mess up in the USA here for instance, so for that matter I’m more than careful in all my dealings. The father has said it all, go and study in the USA and come back to help mother land . At 31 he should be able to fight for his innocence without the father, besides the father has no influence despite the portfolios he held in Ghana.
Yes @ 30 he is definitely responsible for his actions , but as a father you need to investigate the matter in detail and if your son is innocent, go to any length to prove his innocence. I have followed the story and am tempted to believe a fast one was playing on the boy because he had a lot of trust for those close to him.
ITs a painful and a very discipline decision, somewhere in the bible it says, parent will not eat sour grapes and the teeth of children will be on the blade, same way children will not eat sour grapes and children.
