Techno has become a household name on the Ghanaian phone markets after the release of several user and economy friendly handsets.
The company has been trying to achieve the rare combination of slim and sleek in its previous releases and the Techno J8 is the result. It is a lightweight slab with elegant curves couples with a 3.5mm width. Handy right?
The J8 also has a 5.5inch IPS display that allows plenty of viewing for videos and photos and decent arrangement for those who love their apps.
J8 is not all perfect though under the hood as it's 5.1 Lollipop operating system is disappointing. It can be upgraded to a 6.0 if the user has the time. It is equipped with a 2GB RAM that handles decently and carries 16GB ROM that can also be expanded to a 128GB when fitted with a MicroSD.
The 13MP back camera is slightly underwhelming with its output even though it is equipped with an HDR and even more so is the 5MP front camera. Your selfie experience is not the cleanest.
With increased user fondness for apps and gaming as well as music has come the battle to prolong battery life. Techno seems to have made a breakthrough there as the J8 is powered by a new Techno innovation called the HiOS Ui which allows for the 3000mAh battery to perform even longer on very limited charging time.
The crown in the jewel of the Boom J8 though is its sound experience. For a budget phone,it carries decent punch with its acoustics and music lovers will be thrilled with its advanced Boom Maxx organizer .
All in all Techno has designed a sleek, efficient sound machine for the smartphone consumer that is also affordable and should be another best seller.
