Former Member of Parliament (MP), Robert Nachinab Mosore has described the work of legislators as unique, demanding and daunting.
Mr. Mosore, now with the skin name Tongoranaa Kubilsong Naleibegtan in a farewell message to his former colleagues last Friday also called on Parliament to expedite action on the chieftaincy Bill to improve governance in the country.
He further called on the President to improve the conditions of the legislators because some of them were challenged by demands from their constituents.
The Tongoranaa thanked the leadership of the House and MPs for their support during his two and a half-year tenure as MP for Talensi.
Eulogizing the former MP, members of both sides of the House unanimously congratulated him for his new role and urged him to ensure peace and development in his area.
Mr. Mosore was the MP for Talensi in the Upper East Region for two and half years on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party for two and half years.
The Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho noted that this was the first time a MP had resigned hence it was appropriate to bid him a befitting farewell.
