The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that the outcome of the partys victory rally held at the Trade Fair site on Saturday is indicative that the NDC is a very powerful force to contend with.
The rally was aimed at celebrating the victory of the party in the December 7 general elections.
According to the leadership of the NDC, it will continue with a street carnival in Osu on Wednesday, December 26.
In an interview with Citi News, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, Ade Coker said: Even though we were quiet during the intimidation, this indicates that when a clarion call is made, our people will be there to deliver.
Mr. Coker expressed appreciation to the supporters of the party for showing up in their numbers to attend the victory rally.
We are most grateful to them and on Wednesday, there is going to be a street carnival at the Oxford street in Accra and I am sure that one too will be very, very well attended. We have informed the Police so they are aware.
