Spokesperson of flagbearer aspirant, Alan Kyerematen, Nana Ohene Ntow has described as premature calls for his boss to pull out of the flagbearership race and allow his close contender, Nana Akufo Addo to go unopposed.
According to him, there is no need for party members to put undue pressure on Alan K to bow out of the race.
Following the landslide victory of Nana Akufo-Addo; winning 598 votes, representing 80.81% of total valid votes cast at the partys Super Delegate Congress Sunday, there have been calls on the four other aspirants to step down for the two time flagbearer to go unopposed.
Already, former second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joe Ghartey has pulled out of the race; leaving four candidates.
But speaking on Peace FM, Ohene Ntow who had already expressed surprise at the total number of votes his boss had, maintained that calls for him (Alan) to pull out is premature.
He (Alan) should be allowed to make his own decision in his time he told Kwami Sefa Kayi on Mondays edition of Kokrokoo.
