President John Mahama and his wife Lordina are scheduled to visit Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace in London, Thursday.
Mahama and his entourage will depart Ghana on Saturday for London, according to an official correspondence from the Flagstaff House.
As part of the official visit, the First Gentle will address the All Party Parliamentary Group at the House of Commons on Ebola and Security in the West African Sub-region, and host investment sessions at the Chatham House and the Royal African Society.
He will also open a UK-Ghana Investment Forum and The Global African Investment Summit as well as Denmark where he will hold meetings with the Danish Prime Minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, and the Crown Prince of Denmark, Prince Federick.
During the two-day official visit to Copenhagen, the President will deliver the keynote address at the main plenary of the Global Green Growth Forum and join the Danish Prime Minister to speak at another plenary on how to transform the consumption pattern of consumers and the citizenry.
In both London and Copenhagen, President Mahama will hold meetings with various business and investment groups with a view to showcasing the opportunities available in Ghana and the Continent for investment.
