Voting in the parliamentary and presidential primaries of the National Democratic congress in eight constituencies in the Ashanti region has been postponed to tomorrow, Sunday, November 22, 2015, due shortage of electoral materials.
They are Bosomtwi, New Edubiase, Subin, Atwima Nwabiagye North, Manhyia South, Asante Akim North, Afram Plains North, and Obuasi East.
At Obuasi East for instance, the expected ballot papers to arrive was 4,550 but only 3,775 arrived.
Subsequently, the District EC officer Thomas Biyimba announced at Obuasi that the anomalies were expected to be corrected before tomorrow's voting.
