Nii Amasah Namoale, Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon has commended the Presidential candidate-elect for the Convention People's Party (CPP) Ivor Greenstreet.
Namoale congratulated the CPP newly-elected flagbearer for showing resilience and clinching victory during the CPP's national delegates’ congress on Saturday.
He however addressed his leadership responsibilities on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo'.
According to Namoale, the mandate given to Mr. Greenstreet by the delegates is for him to unite the party and ensure its representation in Ghana's Parliament.
He was keen on the zero representation of the CPP in the legislative House, citing the People's National Convention as having had a representative at Parliament on the ticket of the party.
He therefore wants Ivor Greenstreet to work hard for the CPP to get a pass into Parliament.
He also called on the CPP Flagbearer to put right structures in place to build the party up as a strong and formidable third force in Ghana's political climate.
This he believed will strengthen the political democracy in the nation.
