Disqualified flagbearer of the Progressive people’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom is bracing himself for a legal tussle with the Electoral Commission (EC) to challenge his disqualification.
Ultimatefmonline.com, has gathered that Dr Nduom is assembling 18 legal brains to lead the case in court seeking to reverse the decision of the EC Chair Madam Charlotte Osei.
Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom on Tuesday, begged for 5 minutes with the Commissioner indicating that it will enable him rectify the anomalies in his nomination forms and qualify him to run for the presidency.
Madam Charlotte Osei in response said not even a minute, two; three, four or five can make any difference to the fact that he has been disqualified from running as a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections.
“I don’t know what five extra minutes can do……I am not sure it will make any difference “, she said.
Subsequently Dr Nduom on Wednesday was granted the audience but is unclear clear if he made any headway.
What is clear though, is that the Electoral Commission has brought the nomination process for presidential candidates to an end despite the threat of court action by the disqualified presidential aspirants.
The PPP presidential nominee is now banking his hopes on the courts with his 18-member legal team to overturn the decision.
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission said the PPP’s flagbearer was disqualified because the number of subscribers to his forms did not meet the requirements of Regulation 7 (2) (b) of CI 94.
The commission said, one of his subscribers endorsed the form with different signatures in both portions of the nomination form, raising questions as to the legitimacy of one or both signatures.

Look here EC,we don't want any problem in Ghana. You claim there was mistake .Why didn't you informed them about it but rather waited for the last minute to disqualify them?
THOSE WHO LIVE BY SWORD, DIE BY THE SWORD.INSTEAD OF FILLING YOUR FORMS PROPRLY BY BEING METICULOUS. YOU WERE BUSILLY LOOKING FOR WHO KILLED MILLS? SECONDLY YOU WERE BUSILY COLLATING SIGNATURE TO OPPOSE PADONING OF MONTIE 3. FIRE BURN THEM. JM, TOASO
what a waste of time and money it will be. The EC has already reported the man for possible Electoral fraud. You know the punishment eh. The police will be waiting for your fraud endorser at the court premises. Immediately he comes near the court they will grab him. so better don't put him in more trouble.
Christmas for lawyers. Ghana ay3 d3d33d3. Huhuhuhu biara nye hu
Instead of you to sit down and work on your form, you went around talking about Mill's death. Priority???
Money, no problem for Ndoum; christmass for EC; but even Ndoum would not like to have an EC who would not pay attention to details. The 12 election petitioners sought for the accuracy that bankers apply to financial matters to be applied to electoral matters and it is going to be so for a veeery long time. Better put your house in order.
ASPIRING PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE NDOUM YOU ARE NOT CORRECT . GO AND LEARN TO BE METICULOUS AND WAIT FOR 2020 AS YOU HAD THREE WEEKS AND COULD NOT BE METICULOUS BUT RUNNING ON RADIO AND TELEVISION TOUTING BUSINESS CREDENTIALS BUT SIMPLE ELECTORAL LAWS HAVE BEATEN YOU TO SIZE YOU DO NOT WANT TO UNDERSTAND
