PeaceFM's flagship programme, "Kokrokoo" and its seasoned Production Team, last Monday, 10th October, 2016, started a project of following up on the 123 Community Day Senior High Schools being constructed by the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), in all the ten regions in the country.
Today (Monday, Oct 17th), our reporters went to the Eastern Region where some 12 Community SHSs are said to be at various stages of completion, according to government.
However, it emerged that ONLY two (2) have been completed while ten (10) SHSs are uncompleted.
The uncompleted ones are: Takorasi...Denkyembour District (95% completed), Mem-Chemfre....Afram Plains North District (90% complete), Maame krobo....Afram Plains South District (90% completed), Oborpah....Lower Manya Krobo Municipal (80% completed), Apersua...Yilo Krobo Municipal and Sekesua....Upper Manya Krobo District (20%).
The rest are Anum Apapam....Ayensuano District - Obourho, Akim Takyiman....Kwaebibrem District, Abomosu....Atiwa District and Nyafomah....Birim North District.
The completed ones are: Kwaobaa-Nyanoa....Upper West Akim District; which have already been commissioned and Kwahu Fodoa....Kwahu West Municipality.
Below are some pictures of the uncompleted schools

actually kuffour did a lot of great works with the hipc money. not only toilets were built but a lot of basic schools as well. i was in winneba and saw two different basic schools built using the money. when you change the name of existing institutions doesnt means you have build a university, from IPS to UPSA, from accra poly to accra technical university, from a college of agric in sunyani to a university.... do you call that building a university? well, open your eyes to to see the light, change is in the air
Peace FM has done well by showing the pictures for us to make informed decision on the works. My challenge is the completion rate assigned to the various projects. May I ask who quantified the job done. look at Oborpah Sekesua and others. the 90% and 80% allocated to the structures do not depict the works done. For instance a building that does not have roof is termed 90% completed. The Apersua is given 80% completion. The valuer should do good work.
Well peace FM has done a good job by doing the follow up after the list of schools were deliever to them but by showing the pictures they should add the COST of each building that I ll be convinced if not only by the pictures I am not, the creat loot and share is why Mahama must gooooooo period
Finally my villages will get High Schools. Even though am still for change, this is the best legacy one term mahama will leave us!!!
For all those ***barred word*** people saying Kuffuor didn't build any high schools, its either ignorance id.i.o.c.cy or both. One SHS in most districts were selected and mordenized. I know of Oyoko Methodist in New Juaben. Begoro hospitals etc were built. UDS, KNUST saw massive infrastracture developmet. Let's give recognition where its due. I rest my case!!!
The l.y.i.n.g president first said he would build 200 SHS. Then it became 123. Even that, only 10 have been actually completed and being used. NDC y3 party bone paa!
Prez Mahama b) adwuma papa. In NPP's 8yrs:
Public Univ = 0,
SHS = 0,
Regional Hospt = 0
Military Hospt = 0
District Hosp = 1
Aaba. Wasted time. We will never make that mistake again. We learnt our lessons.
JM, TOASO! TOASO!! TOASO!!!
ATOPAHENE JOHN FORD MAHAMA IS THE GREATEST JULOR AND ASHAWOBANZA GHANA EVER HAD AS A PRESIDENT. AS FOR THAT ONE HE IS THE WINNER. WITH HIS AND HIS BROTHER IBRAHIM'S BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF INVESTMENTS IN DUBAI AND 23 CHILDREN AND COUNTING, NO ONE CAN CHALLENGE MAHAMA AND HIS GANG OF NDC JULOR. THAT IS WHY IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR GHANAIANS TO VOTE JULOR MAHAMA OUT IN DECEMBER 2016. INSHA ALLAHU!!!
