At a lecture at a lecture at the University of Cape Coast, Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur once again shredded the NPP’s manifesto promises into pieces.
The lecture themed: ‘The Economy: Strengthening Teaching and Research in Economics for Nation Building’ was one he delivered to Economics students of the university
Mr Amissah –Arthur in his lecture showed mastery skills as he described the manifesto of the New Patriotic Party as unrealistic, adding that it is meant to deceive and misdirect the electorates.
The Vice Prescient described as reckless the economic programmes contained in the manifesto of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He bemoaned the lack of gratitude by the NPP in not recognizing the economic gains made in the last eight years by the NDC in their manifesto.
Mr Amissah -Arthur said not even the “physical manifestations” like the massive infrastructure developments that have taken place in the cities and across all the regions found their way into the manifesto of the opposition party.
He added that “we did an analysis of that paper and we noticed that in the first part there are some very populist policies.”
From the NDC point of view, he claimed that the NPP wants to introduce an unfortunate political streak sustained majorly by lies, character assassination, false alarm, wild allegations, and lately visual simulation, all in the desperation to deceive and misdirect the judgment of the electorates.
He stated that when you take a look at the NPP manifesto there is no philosophical underpinnings in their manifesto compared to that of the NDC party.
The Vice president stated that for the NDC to move from a budget deficit of 12% in 2012 to about 6% today means that, there is fiscal consolidation .
Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur said looking at the intents of NPP and their preaching, it's a reckless way of spending public finances and someone needs to stop them in their tracks “and the only way we can stop them is to vote for H.E. John Dramani Mahama in &th December 2016.”
He stated that the NDC is seeking to provide an environment that will help grow small scale and medium enterprises and to also roll out policies that will create direct employment opportunities for the youth.
He said this would be done through the provision of direct credits to the informal sector adding that “lot of our unemployed graduates shall be employed in that sector going forward.”

These NDC people have no message for voters..... Kotobonku vice to womaniser president....
You alone, you want to restore allowances, reduce taxes yet you would give US$1m per district, you will build one factory in every districts, you have already promised free education up to SHS level, you will build more infrastructure than Mahama because you are more competent and you and your brilliant followers do not want to be told to match these ambitious resources to see whether they can be translated from promises to actions. Ghanaians are a bit more wiser now having learnt from Kuffours promise to reduce vat, only to come and increase it, and Atta Mills' promise to introduce one-time NHIS premium which he came to apologise. Your insult to the brilliant sage only shows he is wiser and more competent than you all. In fact the incompetence of all of you including Bawumia who introduced the incompetent mantra is beginning to show when lawsuits are being squashed because they have been poorly presented. I am tempted to insult you all but because I have been trained to be decorous and diplomatic I will save the insults.
The VP is a member of the media cabal Mahama is talking about. Why do you waste precious time to talk about somebody's manifesto when people are anxious to listen to you manifesto as a party, NDC? The NPP should be grateful to you on this. People are now rushing to read the NPP manifesto to know what is actually in it. Meanwhile, NDC manifesto is not attracting any new readers. Mr. Ammissah-Arthur, I put it to you that you belong to the cabal blocking and distorting the information of your boss, Mahama.
look at this gayy ediot too, you simply does not make economic sense a good economy must be expanding to absorb the youth in to employment, instead you ediots are shrinking the economy and crowding out people from employment, fuuuullish people, kwashia buuuulu juloi
Instead of propagating what the NDC claims to have done you talk about NPP manifesto. You then turn round to blame the media for not talking about the NDC claim to had done.
Mr. Amissah-Arthur is obviously a weak old economist,he didn't make any economic sense in that so called lectures,It's clear why he can't match Dr.Bawumia.VOTE NANA/BAWUMIA for a world class economy, rule of law, agric boom, massive employment, true development with value for money, competency, private sector boom and a beautiful governance.
Look at this comedian who can still not respond to Dr. Bawumia's 170 facts on the economy but can digest a full manifestos on several sectors. Commot for there!
FOR THE SAKE OF EDUCATION,YOU CAN NOT SAY REWRITE AGAIN, ITS WRONG ENGLISH. IT IS REWRITE. DID THE VP SAY THAT OR THE AUTHOR? ANYWAY BOTH OF THEM ARE NOT SERIOUS.
