General Secretary of the People's National Convention (PNC) Atik Mohammed has lambasted President John Dramani Mahama and his government officials for engaging in politics of insults.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Atik Mohammed condemned the President for smearing the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo on his campaign platforms.
According to him, President John Mahama has been using the "All die be die" mantra by Nana Addo to 'crucify' the NPP flagbearer, as part of his campaign strategies to win the 2016 elections.
He wondered why the President would revive an issue that's dead.
Atik Mohammed also castigated the Mahama-NDC administration for attacking the health of Nana Addo on their political platforms.
“I think we condemned using the health of individuals through campaign. The NDC were appalled by it but it appears it is coming back. They’re using the health of another candidate through campaign.”
To him, the model that the NDC "used in 2012, branding people as violent, arrogant and so forth; I think this model is becoming tiring."
"Look, I’ve heard all kinds of peace songs. All kinds of programmes we have been organizing to ensure peace and so on, and if deliberately you’re stigmatizing someone as being violent . . . for me it confirms only one thing, that the President has seen that he’s at the verge of defeat, that’s why we’re importing this tired campaign message of 2012 into 2016," he added.

Atik, very well said but you open your mouth too wide. Learn the basics as well so you can fill ordinary form well!!!
Atik cannot be far from the hard truth. The NDC is desperate. For instance, this is the first time that a Chief of Staff, who should be supervising Ministers who re working, will leave his office for days just to openly campaign and even with lies. The President says he should be voted for to continue his projects for which he has laid a foundation. Questions: 1. Is that why the NDC abandoned foundations of housing and other projects the Kuffuor Government laid and taking 8 ear s just to lay a foundation? 3. Is he not enjoying oil money the Kuffuor Government discovered for him?. How has the President united the NDC when a party which broke away from it is contesting the elections? Where is the Rawlings factor in NDC? Oh how about Tim Quarshigah? Hahaha. Atik, as for the insults,, forget about them because there is no other message for the NDC, only vindictiveness. Coming events cast their shadows, they say.
ogimifoo nana addo should learn how to organised his party
WHO IS ATIK? WHAT IS CAPACITY? SO ***barred word*** THAT HE CAN'T EVEN GET HIS CANDIDATE ON THE PREZ BALLOT.HE IS JUS ***barred word****
Can this boy please fill a form correctly before attempting to talk or advice anyone in this country.
Atik, good one there.
MPAYINSEM ATIK SHOULD LEARN TO RESPECT. INSTEAD OF SEEING TO HIS PNC HE IS ALWAYS SUPPORTING THE NPP AND NANA ADDO. HE HAS NO SHAME AND FEEL TOO PROUD. WHEN HE COMES ON RADIO HE DOES NOT MAKE ANY MEANINGFUL REMARKS ALWAYS REPEATING HIMSELF AND ABUSING THE PRESIDENT WHO HE THINKS HE IS HIS EQUAL EQUAL INFACT DEMOCRACY HAS MADE SOME PEOPLE COME INTO THE PICTURE. HE SHOULD LEARN FROM OPAYIN AGYAKUM AND OTHERS AND LEARN HOW TO TALK. MPAYINSEM.
it shows mahama has no sensible message for ghanaians, period.
Incompetent PNC general secretary, go back to school to learn how to fill EC Forms. Incompetent!
I am a graduate and I understand the words incompetent and corruption very well. How about those who are not educated. How many people who are illiterates even understand corruption and incompetent. Barwumia and nana addo always speak big English on their platform and when they speak twi they still don't explain incompetent and corruption in twi. They think the election is meant for only the educated.
