Minister for Finance, Seth Terkper, says President John Dramani Mahama deserves every commendation for fulfilling his promise to ending the erratic power supply, popularly known as ‘dumsor’ in the country.
He said unlike previous governments that put in place ad-hoc measures to relatively manage ‘dumsor’, Ghana under President Mahama is now enjoying stable power supply to the extent that for the first time in the history of the Fourth Republic, the conduct of the elections will free from dumsor.
“Have we not resolved the ‘dumsor’ crisis? This is the first time since 2012 that we are having an election and dumsor has not been mentioned anywhere,” he noted.
Addressing a mammoth rally at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Greater Accra Region, Monday, December 5, 2016, the Finance Minister said the measures put in place by the President are long-term measures that will ensure the sustenance of the stable power supply the country is now enjoying.

Concert party jokes, u set ur own questions and answer them
Terkper is a fraudster and will be "LOCKED UP" come 2017. Mahama and his appointees must start preparing their HANDING OVER NOTES.CHANGE will sweep them like TSUNAMI come Dec,7.
You could not provide answers to your boss on the 170 economic questions posed and come here sheepishly talking of an artificially induced end to dumsor. Such pedestrian political talk would not even make it at the JCRs of universities
But the first to organize special voting exercise two times ahead of the main election and even that still without success.
This means you people do these deliberately and come lie to us about faulty machines. if you can clearly keep the lights on for elections, then given lights off on other days i thinks were a deliberate acts you people were doing to punish us or you were incompetent. shame on you, playing politics with everything.
You too doing this are you on the ground? You a re not serious. I have been sleeping in darkness for the past one week > What nonesense?
And this is an achievement? No worries....change is coming. We'll remove these tweaaisms this week. A minister of finance of a country with over 27 million who travels to other countries and he's speaking like that? They don't even deserve even a third of a vote.
