Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu is accusing the barely one month old Nana Akufo-Addo government of suffering from policy credibility.
Mr Iddrisu said the NPP cannot promise one thing in opposition and do the opposite after winning power.
He was speaking on the Super Morning Show, Monday on the performance of six ministerial appointees vetted so far by the Parliament's Appointment Committee.
According to him, the NPP has signed or is seeking to sign an international economic transaction with a company called Mckenzie which will see the company run affairs in the first 100 days of the NPP administration.
This, the Tamale South MP said is curious given the fact that the NPP had, time without number trumpeted to Ghanaians about its competence and ability to bring the economy back on track.
He said the minority will thoroughly scrutinize the arrangement when it comes to Parliament.
"The Minister of Finance [designate] is able to tell the Ghanaian public and Parliament that within 100 days the NPP which had parroted its competence is now relying on borrowed and hired competence," he said.
"If you have a McKenzie contract already working for the government or seeking to work for Ghana within the 100 days. So where are their own competence? What will McKenzie be doing?" he asked.
Haruna Iddrisu also chastised the government, accusing it of making a u-turn on the promise to reduce taxes when it wins power.
The NPP had, throughout the campaign period, queried what it says were "nuisance taxes" imposed by the Mahama led government.
Key amongst those taxes were Financial Service tax, Energy Sector Levy, Import levy etc.
Haruna Iddrisu reported the Finance Minister designate as saying those taxes will not be reviewed.
"Now they are beginning to admit that for instance when they said they will review taxes, the Energy Sector levy... they have maintained a policy position that it will not be revised. Before the elections what was their position on this particular matter?
He said the NPP's condemnation of the Mahama led government on the country's debt profile was unfortunate because they failed to acknowledged that the debt comes with assets include massive infrastructural development.
"Now they are not even able to share with us how they intend to finance the fiscal deficit contrary to the promise that within 100 days contractors would have been paid.
Haruna Iddrisu said those looking towards the glory days under the Akufo-Aled governemtn would have been disappointed thus far.

These people are still in pain, and they can't handle it. Haruna, where was your scrutinising ability in Parliament when you people (NDC) were endorsing fictitious deals? Or did you suddenly recover your scrutinising acumen? Shame on you guys!! It has to be NDC, if not, mayhem! Please let Ghanaians do the judgement. We overwhelmingly booted out your ***barred word*** brigade and have given the NPP and His Excellency President Akufo-Addo the chance for the next four years, at the end of which WE, the people of Ghana, will be the ultimate judges. Why are you so much in a hurry to castigate a government that has not yet been formed? What did you tell your ***barred word*** brigade when they were milking Ghana dry? Did you suddenly find your voice? We are very alert as a people, so do not ever, ever think your ***barred word*** brigade can take us for a ride again. No, NEVER AGAIN!!! See the disgrace you brought upon yourselves when Hon. Agyarko was queried about his assertion on the campaign platform that Mahama puts corruption first. He took his time and disected his answer very well to the extent that I am sure the questioner even regretted asking the question, because Hon. Agyarko's answer stunned the audience and drew gasps from them as we heard on radio. SHAME!!! God Almighty in His wisdom salvaged this beloved nation of ours from the hands of you looters. Four more years under NDC, and Ghana would have been declared bankrupt, mortgaged and taken to the cleaners. Let the new Government be. We gave them the mandate, not you. If they don't deliver, we shall show them the door. Your behaviour is as though you are scrutinising the NPP's first 100 days in office. In case you have been in a trance since your devastating loss, please wake up, it's only been 17 days!!! How long did it take Atta Mills of blessed memory to compose his government even though he declared he would hit the ground running?? Physician, heal thyself!!! Mtcheeeeeewww
Thanks for your comment. You have said it all for me.
See this one too enye woa so arrogant
Haruna, it's a travesty of natural justice that a crim.inal of your caliber is still in office and still has the effrontery to make such sill.y statements. Your day will soon be here.
HARUNA, INFACT YOU ARE VERY DISAPPOINTING. AT LEAST A MINORITY LEADER SHOULD LIVE ABOVE THIS CHEAP PROPAGANDA
Haruna is desperate to achieve the type of popularity Alban Bagbin achieved when he became minority leader. What a shame.
Massa; what kind of cheap politics is this because still the NDC are not quite sure and not understand the motives of the NPP; in the first place ; the government under Nana Addo has only being in power for only a couple of weeks ; the idea of seeking external review assistance from Mackenzie is done by every sane government who does not pride themselves as stillers and bandits ;why dd the NDC go for assistance from the IMF ; Mackezie is a Consultantancy Group with offices in Ghana ; the people who are going to do and design effective strategic plans in line with the NPP manifesto are in Ghana besides as government you need independent advise on matters such as fraud and complex legal issues including a review of these over invoice krooked deals initiated by Haruna Iddrissu another northner krook and a thiff and like Woyome and seeking to lead the NDC party besides is Iddrisu not involved in a deal which the government is about to review soon ; Iddrisu should understand that there is a saying that if you are in forest you do not see your back whether you are traveling in a straight line but need somebody behind you to to tell you whether yu are going in a staright line ; these ediots in the NDC thought they were in a straight but were kicked out by Ghanaians ; the NPP has not done a U-turn on taxes that is mis-information ; How can you equate debts come with these mediocre projects assets ; does Haruna Iddrssu understand the currents debt position at GHC120 billion and the assets valueless inflated infracsture development assets; which will not yield anything till another 20 years time; WHO NEEDS DEBTS !!!!!!; Haruna Iddrssu does not understand how the deficits could be reduced because he is clueless ; the simple solution is just stoping the huge infrascture developments and restating and reviwing develoments projects which does not give value for money ; this includes PUTTING A STOP TO SOLE SOURCING krooked contracts which does not give value for money and concentrate on cost /beneit analysis of projects because sole sourcing is an easy krooked means to still from Ghanaians and an easy way of managing the economy ; Iddrissu Haruna just STOP your naive complaints and GO MASTERBATE AND GET SOME PLEASURE because Nana Addo has the right people to do the JOB for Ghana .
Is it the same Haruna who insisted that the NPP had no excuse to plunge this country into darkness? and that "adumdum-adumdum" will stop in their time? Look who is talking about credibility. They are yet to understand why ghanaians voted them out of office. May they continue to talk the way they do and remain there for a long time.
