Chairman of Parliament's Appointment Committee Joseph Osei-Owusu has insisted all 13 ministers-designate vetted are set for parliamentary approval although the Minority leader disagrees.
The Minority leader Haruna Iddrisu told Joy News there is consensus on all but one nominee - the Senior minister-designate Yaw Osafo Maafo.
Mr Maafo is one of the troubled two nominees whose recommendation has been pending since Monday.
The nominee who is a former Finance Minister is yet to disentangle himself from claims that he made some ethnocentric comments in November 2015.
According to Mr Iddrisu such "nation-wrecking comment should not be tolerated."
This is at the heart of the Minority's problem with the nominee who during vetting claimed his comments have been misconstrued.
An unconvinced Minority want to listen to the tape to determine the veracity of his claims.
Mr Iddrisu said the Appointment Committee has passed all except Osaafo Marfo a determination for which he said would be made on Monday.
But Joe Osei Owusu told Joy News, "I can assure you that all the 13 nominees have been cleared and the report will reflect that."
He said Mr Maafo has supplied enough information to satisfy the Committee which would forward his name for approval.
The Senior minister-designate was not the only nominee to have run into problems with the Committee.
Energy minister-designate Boakye Agyarko's approval was also put on hold after the Minority said it wants the nominee to substantiate claims he made during his vetting last Saturday.
In one of the claims, Boakye Agyarko claimed the World Bank pressurized then President John Dramani Mahama into some policy decisions.
It appears the Committee no longer has a problem with the nominee. It is not clear when Parliament will approve the list of vetted ministers-designate.

Haruuna is second to mahama as one of the most ethnocentric public officers in ghana, who does he think he is? And what has pearl said that has. Not been said by him and even worse things. Masa clear yourself. See such person with the aim of becoming president.
All the ministers designate are matured enough to take the task given to them by his excellency Nana Addoh. The battle is the lords
There is no heart wrecking in this. Haruna Iddrisu your presidential ambition will halt because who is going to vote for you loud mouth, arrogant and disrespectful incompetent hateful and jealous divisive people. You think we were fooools to keep mute for you and your people and the Volta region to take control of every institution and department in Ghana? Look you people must stop taking Akans for granted and trying to play the victim game since it will not help you. We've seen you people are unpatriotic, you have no good intentions about the country but think only of yourselves by using your own people to enrich yourselves to compete with the Akans in wealth but what you forget is Akans are all weather and can survive every regime no matter how you hate us. If even Nana Yaw Osafo Marfo said it was he wrong? Where are all the natural resources coming from and how many Akans are in the security services and civil service even in education ndc discrimination of Akans are there. If you want us all to live in peace you idi*ts and soar losers in the ndc should give us a break for we Akans support what he said if really he said it I agree with that. Haruna Iddrisu can go burn the sea,we Akans shall never vote for you if you stand as a presidential candidate for the ndc,you are too noisy and annoying.
These NDC guys are just a waste of time. Look at them.
The last time i checked ,all of them were sworn in by His Excellency..so to hell with your noise empty barrel.
I don't think minority claims about osafo marfo holds water. Stop hatred and release the man.
@ Togbe, some ayigbe people and their way of thinking. After all, what value have those things to called mps added to the vetting. They just want to score propaganda scores
Even Oti Bless was approved as a minister in John Mahama's NDC govt despite his association with the Montie 3..... Haruna Iddrisu must go and defend his plagiarised MPhil thesis at Legon....
in fact, i want NDC members of the committee to boycott the vetting so that NPP can have their ways as NPP did to NDC.After all, we did not vote for NPP just to allow NDC to tell them what NPP should do.
Look at this brat trying to frustrate the work of this administration. They know the importance of Osafo Maafo to the economic agenda of this government
