The Joe Ghartey Committee that investigated parliament’s bribery scandal has submitted its report to the House Wednesday.
The 44-paged report of investigations into the bribery scandal explains the circumstances surrounding the scandal and some recommendations on the way forward on the issue.
The report is likely to be taken into consideration by the House latest by tomorrow.
The five-member Committee was set up following allegations that the Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko bribed some members of the Appointments Committee during his vetting months ago.
The Energy Minister has since denied the allegations against him.
The presentation of the report is expected to bring a closure to the matter which many say has soiled the reputation of the legislature.
