The utterances of Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong, against Ahmed Hussein-Suale, an investigative journalist with Tiger Eye PI who was assassinated last week, smacked of irresponsibility, Prof Stephen Adei, a former rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), has said.
According to him, elsewhere, Mr Agyapong would not have gone scot-free after inciting violence against the undercover journalist following Tiger Eye’s premiering of an investigative documentary called Number 12, which exposed rot in Ghana and African football.
Hussein-Suale was shot thrice on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 at Madina, a suburb of Accra while driving home around 10 p.m. His assailants made their getaway on a motorbike.
Apart from inciting violence against Hussein-Suale, Mr Agyapong was seen in a clip exposing the undercover journalist’s identity by splashing his photos on his NET2 TV station as well as on social media.
Reacting to this development on Class FM, Prof Adei said: “It was irresponsible what he [Kennedy Agyapong] said. It is irresponsible today and will be irresponsible forever. Unfortunately, this is the only country you can say that and get away with it”.
“It is totally irresponsible.”

truth, what ken did was uncalled for but that does not make anas innocent in this murder case.remember newton's second/third law "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". anas and his team called for that reaction from Ken. but i strongly believe anas knows something about this death
This is exactly the opportunity anas was looking for. to incite the public against anas. realizing that he will loose the caught case against Ken he has decided to on an elimination by rough tactics by inciting the public against Ken. Any intelligent person will know that anas knows something abt the murder. u dont need to be Einstein to know this. just sit down and meditate over the actions of anas since the who watches the watch man video. he has been exposed big time. I dont know how many ple knew that one of Ken's key witnesses Hafiz who came out to say Anas took $50000 from him to kill a case died in November last year mysteriously. at the time the guy made that allegation, anas never spoke to that matter on air but knew what to do and he did it. he can kill his partner to prove a point. remember one of the challenges he is facing now is keeping the mask on since Ken wants to make sure that be4 they finish that case he has seen his face. if it were to be some countries like the US, he would have been the first person to be questioned.
several people have raised issues concerning illegal nature of Anas work. Martin Amidu is one of them. have you watched 'who watches the watchman?' I will also be happy if you cld tell us how some of the undercover journalist over all world operate. if you can cite even one of them who just go, offer bribes to people and video themk and later sends the video to his victims to watch six months before he airs it, I ll clap for you.
Please couldn't you have addressed the issues the honorable Prof. Adei raised without insulting his person, since it seems you don't know what it takes to be a Prof.? There we go again, it's because of your likes that a lot of Ghanaians are wallowing in abject poverty. What Kennedy Agyapong did/ is doing was/ is wrong, call spade a spade. Ghana is not lawless State. He has to be brought to book before Nana Addo and government is dragged in the mud or already murky waters.
This soo called prof is really nauseating. He is not intelligent enough to be called professor How did he earn that title? Everything he says is riffraf. Highly unintelligent. He is a disgrace to academia because if this unintelligent man can be called professor then it means Ghana is sick. We can buy proffersorship with money.HE CANT EVEN SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH. HIS CHILDREN ARE WAYWARD AND DEVIANTS. AS A GOOD PARENT HOW DO YOU CONTROL YOUR KIDS. YOULR DAUGHTER IS A ***barred word***. BAD PPARENTING BUT YOU TALK AS IF YOU ARE A TIN GOD. MAY YOUR SINS BE FORGIVIN
@ Joe It’s sad to see comments from people like you. People like you are the bane of Ghana’s, and I dare say Africa’s woes. Anas indeed wears a mask, but he doesn’t go wearing a mask to do his job. Who in his right senses who negotiate or bargain with a man in a mask? Anas only wears a mask to show his works to the public and to testify in court because of the risk involve in his job. He wears masks because of the danger the work he has chosen portends. Joe, how does it seem to you that he is being recognised internationally, and allowed with the same mask on international platforms to address reasonable people, including scholars on what he does? I guess you, Kennedy Agyapong, and your likes are the most intelligent people in Ghana? Do you think our Justices and legal luminaries with the Security services don’t know what is lawful and unlawful, and would allow Anas to do what he does? You speak of culprits of his investigations as if they are/were victims. What the people you’re alluding to did was criminal under our laws, and any meaningful and lawful country in the world. Your assertion Anas isn’t a “saint” smacks of low level of thinking, why? Because nobody in Ghana has claimed Anas is a saint. He is an ordinary citizen like any Ghanaian who has decided to ply his trade, hence if you have evidence that he is corrupt in any way, you table your evidence before the Security services and allow them and the judiciary to do their jobs. Any way that is what Anas cleverly and intelligently does than you and the Kennedys’. Anas and his team have never incited anybody against your so-called victims of his investigations, the culprits, you don’t seem to believe deserve what their ills to the society have caused them. Prof. Adei is never wrong in what he said, elsewhere, where humans think as such and system works, Kennedy Agyapong wouldn’t even be allowed to set foot out of Ghana, with video circulated about his utterances. In fact, he would have long been invited and put to bars for circulating the images of the Tiger eye PI team and inciting the public against them. Our own laws incriminate him, but because of our corrupt governments and partisan politics, he is walking free. If you care to know, in the West, where our government run to for aide, where Kennedy Agyapong brags and claims to have made his money from, people like Anas are given protection by the State. Undercover journalists and investigators ply their trade, and do not even have to present themselves to the court as their evidence are taken up by the prosecution after all the necessary investigations and interrogations are done. Of course, he has to make money because he uses his own resources to conduct his investigations, hence the documentaries he does, which is not a crime. The government could have bought the rights from him, but like any reasonable minded person will know, ours wouldn’t do so even when foreign media and governments are interested such bold and clever investigations. Think wise, safe Ghana for the next generation. Help rid yourself and the likes of Kennedy Agyapong with corrupt minds. If Kennedy or you are clean and law-abiding citizens, why would you bother if somebody wires your house? At the end of the day, if you do nothing criminal, the person has nothing on you; and if they are caught with recordings of your private and non-criminal videos, the laws of the land will deal with them.

Kwasi.afo) when he was using the same techniques on judges and ceps officials, cocbod and prison inmates de3 it was fine. but when he caught friends of the president de3 it was abogus technique. U think u ahould be treated like pigs in ***barred word*** farm eeh. Egymifo), go on anas
you have made my day. I wish those in govt now will take sth from what you have said. I like ur questions esp 'to what extent does Anas' work reduce corruption and which journalist in this world wears mask to hide his identity?' he's just riding behind the weaknesses of those in authority to enrich himself through blackmailing.
Prof, do you mean you will knowingly allow any Tiger eye operative to come and wire your office or residence? How more if this operative happens to be a beneficiary from your largess? Most of us tend to be hippocrates and comment anyhow when we are not the affected party. In which country on this planet will journalists wear masks apart from Ghana? To what extent has the works of Anas and his cohorts changed corruption in Ghana? On the other hand, the victims who have lost their reputations without any reasonable cause are in hundreds if not thousands, not to forget those who have become paralyzed and others that have died and left their children with no one to care for them. The negative image Tiger Eye activities on Ghana is appalling and we may soon top the global corruption index, thanks to Anas. revelations on the modus operandi of Anas are simply sickening! How dare him, if not in Ghana and to a large extent Africa, to claim to be a saint when he may be the worst culprit of corruption? I expected you , the prof. to hail Ken for volunteering to "watch the watchman" for mother Ghana! It is only in Ghana that exposing the Identity of someone is a "crime". We are all sorry for the untimely death of Mr Suale and hope the assassin will be flushed out at a short last. However, that does not mean we should lose our heads and draw baseless and illogical conclusions on statements people made under justifiable conditions.
