Ghana's Former Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Victor Smith, has revealed that the Minority in Parliament will storm the Police Headquarters today to demand the identities of the masked national security operatives who stormed the residence of the NDC aspirant for the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election while the election was underway.
The former diplomat said he does not understand why the Inspector General of Police (IGP) is dragging its feet in inviting Bryan Acheampong for interrogation.
Speaking on Okay fm’s "Ade Akye Abia" Programme, he reiterated that, "the IGP and Ghana Police Service seemed not interested in getting to the bottom of the matter by bringing the culprits to book.
"I was expecting the Police service to invite Bryan Acheampong for questioning to assist in investigations as he (Bryan) appears to have more information on these.
"He has admitted that the men are his own guys so what is preventing the IGP to call him to order? We, Minority in Parliament are going to storm police headquarters to demand the identities of the masked men," Victor Smith stated.
