The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are voting in an election to choose who will lead them in the 2020 elections.
Reports gathered by some of our correspondents in some constituencies indicate that delegates are being rewarded after casting their vote.
According to reports received so far, delegates in Kpone Katamanso, Suhum, Asutifi South and Nkwanta South can be seen going to an enclosed place or a designated table to collect 'transportation' money allegedly donated by former President John Mahama.
Confusion ensued in the Suhum constituency because some of the delegates did not understand why some were given GHC20 and others GHC10.
Explaining why this arrangement, Peace FM's reporter at the Suhum constituency, Godfred Asare aka Old Soldier says the executives decided to use part of the money to hire buses to transport some the delegates who are at remote villages or towns where there is difficulty with transportation.
He said calm has been restored in the constituency after a small misunderstanding ensued.
Over 260,000 delegates nationwide are choosing between seven contestants: Mr. Goosie Tanoh, a businessman, Former President John Dramani Mahama, Professor Joshua Alabi, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies and Mr. Alban Sumanu Bagbin, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament.
The rest are; Mr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, a Former Minister of Education and Trade, Mr. Sylvester Mensah, a former Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority and Alhaji Nurudeen Iddrisu, a businessman.
Voting is currently going on smoothly.

Currently no matter how good you are ,no matter the big developmental ideas you have .In Ghana today if you don't have money and you don't pay close your mind on becoming a president. We will only have crooks in governing Ghana. The money will have to be recoup ,if they win power. That is why we have so many inflated contracts . I don't blame them but Ghanaians ,if we collect money for everything we do for the nation , voting too man must collect money .
WE ARE NOT SERIOUS AS A NATION TO ALLOW THIS CORRUPT AND ROGUE JOHN MAHAMA TO BE SPENDING OUR LOOTED FUNDS IN HIS COMEBACK BID. UNTIL THESE POLITICAL CROOKS ARE BROUGHT BACK TO FACE REAL JUSTICE, OUR UP AND COMING YOUTH WILL FOREVER ADORE THESE ***barred word*** IN POLITICAL SUITS....
SHAME UNTO YOU GUYS WHO WANT TO DISCREDIT THIS WONDERFUL ELECTION BY NDC. NPP SHARED MONEY IN THE BUCKET OF PICKUPS BY HERE,VOTE TAKE 20GHC FOR T&T AND FOOD.AND THIS WAS NOT AT ANY HIDDING PLACE,BUT AT THE POOLING STATION SO WHAT ARE YOUR PROBLEM.DID'NT WE GO THERE IN TRANSPORT ? OR DON'T WE HAVE TO EAT ? THIS IS NO BRIBE OO. GO ASK FREDDIE BLAY AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT BRIBE MEANS. GO GO NDC 2020
I think this peace fm reporter is suffering from the npp liars syndrome, where is the money galore, lies, lies, everywhere
280,000 delegates at Ghc 20 cedis is Ghc 5.6 million cedis a pop. That can set up 56 Planting for food and jobs program for 56 farmers and for John Dramani Mahama, a modern mechanized technologicalyl vertically integrated industrial farm in Bole Bamboi. I know who is winning and which party in elections for the next 32 years back to back.
But shouldn't transportation be provided by the party instead of the candidate? this makes it a bribe and not transportation period.
Yes, that has been the stock in trade of NDC, -VOTE BUYING all these years. Otherwise how could NDC have won any elections in Ghana. Now they can do this NASTY thing among themselves but not in the general election. Couldn't that have been coming from the party? Why from Mr. TIO?
