The National Chairman of the opposition Peoples National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah has described the proposed meeting between the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the disbandment of vigilantism in the country as "useless".
Alluding to the Ayawaso by-election violence, he said that what happened was a criminal act and those involved must be arrested and brought to book, instead of using fake dialogue as an excuse to cover up crime.
Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Programme, he reiterated that unleashing violence is a crime and that in the case of Ayawaso West Wuguon by-election violence it will just be a matter of police investigating the offenders and trial them.
“What if NPP and NDC come back telling as they don’t see the activities of vigilantism as a crime? What can we do or say…we should deal with this problem according to the law and not limit it to NPP NDC because they are not the solution to this problem.
"I don’t agree with the President calling for NPP and NDC for dialogue neither do I agree with NDC calling for stakeholders involvement in the dialogue, because every voter is counted as a stakeholder…they also have interest in the outcome of every election," he stated.
He therefore called on the President to simply allow the laws of the land to work.

Massa if you dont have anything to say just keep mute. Your name was mentioned on the ofosu ampofo tape so we know where you are wai.
YOU ARE A BIG FO-O-O-O-O-O-O-L. mhweeeeeeew.
Bernard your comment is ***barred word***.
Mr Mornah, if your PNC has a vigilante group it is not too late report to the president that your party also has a notorious group that you want to disband,so that you join the dialogue.
Bernard where have you been, or your paymasters didn't tell you what to talk about on radio in time. Thank God you have been given the green light to talk but just pray hard for your ndc to continue to fund your "***barred word***" party that has only one branch in Accra
You only know how to criticize without providing any alternative solution to this menace, no wonder you have lost your usefulness even in your own party
