Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kweku Boahen, has asked that President Akufo-Addo uses the existing laws binding party vigilante groups than wanting to create new laws for cheap political points.
“Use and implement the already existing laws to disband party militia groups than wanting to create new laws for cheap political gains,” he asked President Akufo-Addo on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ political discussion segment.
Kweku Boahen emphatically stated that they [NDC] will not have an initial meeting with the NPP as proposed to discuss if the need for a third party is necessary.
According to him, they are yet to meet as a party to take a final decision on the letter sent to them by the NPP General Secretary, even though they [NPP] delayed the date suggested by the President to hold the said meeting.
“We will never meet NPP on party vigilante disbandment without a third party. They will be making declarations we never made to the public claiming we made, therefore for the purposes of fairness and authenticity, a civil society group is needed as a witness in this meeting.
“We don’t trust the NPP to an extent of having close door meetings with them without a witness,” he added.

@ Joey, if you don't or didn't understand what the man said then the problem is you not him. I understood very clearly , he even summarized his point beautifully in the end. so is either you cannot read to understand or you simply cannot read. Massa the RED,BLUE & WHITE colors are clouding your vision and perhaps independent thinking capacity. Please get it checked.
The day has not yet arrived when this simpleton will say anything that makes sense
If Kwaku Boahen is talking sense then you are more than primitive and animals are better than those in the ndc ! woy3 kwa*sea paaaaa! ogyi*mifuo no wonder you are in the ndc ! let Kwaku Boahen talk ***barred word*** and he has a lot to answer in court! if Montie3 made pronouncements and were jailed why can't these 3 idi*ots in the ndc also be jailed fir kidnapping and killing of Ghanaians which could be the judges daughter being kidnapped or wife or sister being killed? we are all watching ! Ghana first ! our institutions have to protect the good people of Ghana against desperate and kriminal ndc !
WE HAVE ALLOT OF PRIMITIVE PEOPLE IN GHANA,THAT IS THE REASON NANA ADDO IS RULING GHANAIANS LIKE ANIMALS,PERIOD,
NDC has NO solution and confidence in themselves in ANYTHING. That was why they run to IMF to policy credibility which landed Ghana where we were. NPP will solve all their MESS!
Let this being tell us or point out to us only one of the existing laws that ban or seek to ban party militia groups in Ghana. Anokwas3m s3 politics has become so cheap in Ghana that nonentities and people such as this being called Kweku Boahen have the gust to spew nkwaseas3m from their stanching mouths to talk anyhow to people.
