The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku, became the talk of Paga during the burial service of the late C.K Tedam.
During the burial service for the legend, rains accompanied by wild windstorm interrupted proceedings for some minutes, to the surprise of the gathering, Sammi Awuku with a few others cleaned and re-arranged hundreds of chairs for visitors to sit on and also made sure the canopies were re-fixed.
Sammi Awuku who was named "Youth Youth" by the late C.K Tedam had a personal touch with the statesman and always made sure the old man was well catered for until his demise.
Thousands including President Akufo-Addo, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and other dignitaries came to Paga to mourn the late party stalwart, who was the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Awuku, you can carry Ptof. Mills body because that is the work of the ndc not NPP ! but because you guys are street born you don't have respect for anyone, you talk anyhow and insult anyhow to Ghanaians! This is published for those youth who have ears and eyes to hear and see and learn from such cultured and good manners for there is blessing from God to those who respect and give helping hands to the needy and poor. Ndc must keep off NPP business, nobody invited you here our father is dead and we are giving him a befitting burial!
Awuku is really affable because of his humility as displayed here.Let him build on this character and the sky will be his limit.
Ghana paaaaaa, so helping to arrange chairs during a funeral of such an elderly man of his calibre also needs to be in newspapers. What kind of pettiness is this? Does anyone expected president kuffour or nana addo to go and carry chairs there? It would have been extraordinary if he did same when professor mills died. Carrying your own father's coffin doesn't need to be trumpeted. Enough of these juvenile type of propaganda.
