General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia says Ghana may never have a President in the character and make of the late Prof. Atta Mills.
According to him, the late Mills showed class in leadership during his reign as President.
Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia programme, the NDC scribe explained that during the tenure of the late Prof. Mills as President, the country experienced a "rare wave of change in the political discourse and development".
He also "improved the infrastructure" of the country by providing many projects to especially the rural folks.
"We will continue as a party to remember the former statesman of the country who contributed selflessly to the development of the country and the youth in general," he added.
The opposition NDC, the party on whose ticket Prof. Mills stood through his political career until his death, held a wreath-laying ceremony on Wednesday at the Asomdwe Park, where he was buried, to mark seven years of his demise.
