For a little snap of a President at a Summit to be voted out is just too silly!! as trivial to rely on for political gain. The good Chancellor Dr. Merkel of Germany quite recently was conspicuously shaking at official public functions, yet she is competent, brilliant and hardworking. The Germans love her and are proud of her. Democracy is a competition of ideas, policies and good leadership. Therefore, if NDC seeks to win political power, she should rather bank on convincing the electorates, that NDC possesses those virtues much more than her opponents. Propagating and ridiculing the sitting President on snap for votes would not wash. Mind you, Ghanaians are very, very intelligent.
It is a national disgrace when a president sleeps on the job. But Ghanaians have become stupefied by these wolves in sheep clothing to the extent that no action can be taken by the people. Abnormal things have become normally in Ghana!!!
Africa Leaders always sleep at Summit.... that is why they lack knowledge to develop our countries......they only speak big English more than the owners of the language......
Except the president is a mouse, because when a mouse sleeps it is not news, but when a president of a nation sits during summit and sleep and people talk about it, that is not trivializing issues.
There is nothing wrong if as human he dozes off, but his own mouth has exposed him. He used to call professor Mills, professor do little, so when you have been given the job, this is not time to be sleeping particularly when you are among colleagues presidents. Even Mills who had cancer was never caught sleeping among his colleagues. If he is sick, the government should let Ghanaians know as NDC did with professor Mills.
GOVERNANCE IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS. AS A PRESIDENT, YOU GOT PHYSICALLY. AND MENTALLY FIT TO ASSUMED THE HOGH OFFICE OF THE LAND.IF YOU ARE NOT FIT AND CUT FOR THE JOB,THE BEST OPTION IS GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN. IS IT BY FORCE TO BE PRESIDENT?. AS A TAXI DRIVER,MY HARD EARNED TAX IS USED TO JET THE PRESIDENT AROUND,CLOTHHED,PROVIDE SECURITY. THE LEAST IS TO SEE MY PRESIDENT SLEEPING AND SNORING ON THE JOB.MY GOODNESS. NO WONDER THE COUNTRY IS IN REVERSE GEAR. A SLEEPING PRESIDENT CAN EASILY BE MISLEAD IN AMERI/ METILINOUS DEAL .I can afford as a citizen to pay what's up tax, Facebook tax, data tax and the money being used to pay for the sleeping president
Folks, just banking on making a huge fuss about trivialities for political gains is a clear indication of resignation and lack of competence. I know those empty-headed NDC cohorts are going to jump on me and hurl insults at me. For, they can't just make sense of what I'm trying to make them aware of. Then, it's not party-politic expedient for any sane party to rely on baseless political polemics and propaganda to win elections. NDC better heed my comments than just attacking my personality. A word to the wise is enough. I rest my case.
If you can't point us to any social intervention that your party has ever done, these are some of the trivialities you clinch on.If the NDC and their supporters fill so badly about this, they should write to their manefesto team to include this as a flashship program or intervention-President not sleeping or dose off at international meetings. Global multinational companies have rooms for their CEOs and top management to have a nap in the afternoon. They understand what goes into higher productivity.
Humans normally sleep in the night unless you work overnight then ur sleeping change. So the event was done in the night then it just unfair for people criticize him , but if it was in the day there should be a lot of questions what was he doing in the night that took hos sleeping time or change of time zone was the cause?
I'm in London and watched the whole event. Yes, he slept, but he wasn't the only one found sleeping, South African President also slept and there was a young man, don't know which country he was from, also slept. These things are common at such gatherings
