General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has debunked the assertion by some section of Ghanaians especially the members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) that he [Asiedu Nketia] is inciting the youth against President Akufo-Addo.
According to the NDC Chief Scribe, he is only enlightening the youth to know the consequences of the action taken by the government as they have every right to protect their future from destruction.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, General Mosquito as he is popularly called reiterated that he cannot be blamed for enlightening the youth to show concern for their future which is being destroyed by the decision taken by the Akufo-Addo led government.
“What are we leaving behind for the next generation? So if the youth are sitting down unconcerned to inherit a destroyed nation, that is up to them. I have heard that some people are saying that I am inciting the youth to create chaos, but I am not inciting them; rather I am enlightening them to see consequences of our action today against their future,” he debunked.
He stressed that it is important to make people see the consequences of their choices in life as it is not possible to take a particular decision and expect a different outcome.
“So if you don’t want those consequences that will follow a particular choice then don’t make that choice. It is madness to think that you have taken that choice and you are fully aware of its consequences but then you don’t want that consequences to happen based on that choice. It is madness to choose the road to Aflao and expect to reach the destination of Abidjan,” he chided.
“This is why I am saying that those who are making those decisions, if they have done nothing wrong, then those of us who are saying that those decisions will result in a particular way, what crime have we committed?”, he wondered.

Interesting days ahead with characters in NDC leadership pronouncement especially Asiedu Nketiah. This man in NDC is the big problem for NDC party becuase his utterances are distasteful. Ghanaians youth were there he allocated scholarship to his children to study abroad without mere thinking so called Ghanaian youth he is now talking about. If he thinks his children are better off than Ghanaian youth , should go and assemble them with his shallow presentation. Asiedu Nketiah is and will an albatross round the neck of NDC successes. His conduct drive away potential voters for NDC to win any elections in Ghana if not change ndc will forever be in opposition -AMEN"""""""""""""::::::::"""""""""?????>>
say ndc youth dont say Ghanian youth, we r decerning and not ***barred word***, we know which party has the youth at heart, and which party performs better in power.
When Akufo Addo talked about the Arab Spring was he inciting the youth? Ghana is not a one Party State so NPP people should not ask what at all does the NDC want. ***barred word***
What does the NDC want the Ghanaians to believe; that the NPP regimes had caused the mess? The NDC regimes had rule Ghana for good 27 years, and if there is a mess in Ghana, the chunk of it had been produced by the NDC. Apparently, the NDC seems to hold Ghanaians in disesteem, otherwise, it would not lie to Ghanaians the way it does.
