Hahahaaaa, their national chairman Freddie Blay is the leading stranger in the party. Maybe the regional is right. It is because their national chairman is a stranger that's why the NPP is beginning to lose it's popularity. A leading member of the NPP said quite recently that the NPP is not the most popular party in Ghana today. Maybe it's because a stranger is leading the party that's why the current NPP is not blessed like the kufour one. Ask for the current NPP apart from the political appointee nobody is seeing top. Their own school feeding caterers are on strike, their own contractors have not been paid for years and yet they add those unpaid projects as part of the their achievements. Their own nabco personnel are no longer going to work, 8 months,no allowance . Maybe the strangers have brought curses onto the party.
NPP is one party, the party is going for an internal contest to elect national executives and a whole regional chairman sees other contestants as strangers. He should also ask himself. Can the NPP 'break the 8' without the vote of strangers? If it was about strangers some NPP people holding key positions are big time strangers but today they are the ones dictating the pace. Who knew Kanbgeree in NPP between 1992- 2017. You contested for the upper west regional chairmanship when NPP was in power. What of those who were with the party when it was in opposition? Who knew Ambrose Dery in NPP between 1992-2003? It was president kufour who appointed him as a deputy attorney general in 2004 as a stranger. Today he is the one dictating the pace of the NPP in the upper west region as if he was a founding member. I thought the regional chairman should have been justifying why John Boadu should be retained and not see others as strangers when he himself is the number one stranger. Where was John Boadu when the party's seats in parliament dropped from 169 to 137. Where is John Boadu when people who sacrificed their all for the party between 2009-2016. Today some are being fed by their wives. Somewhere in upper west i saw on social media some frustrated party stalwarts venting their anger on him for non payment of contracts awarded them three years after they have handed over the projects. School feeding caterers majority of whom are NPP supporters are on strike for nonpayment of services rendered, what has John Boadu done as general secretary to fight for these women and you think without him the NPP can't break the 8.
