Senyo Hosi, a Convener for Individual Bondholders Forum of Ghana, has asked all individual holders of bonds not to be dismayed nor worried about their investments any longer.
According to him, the forum has reached a consensus with Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, not to touch the individual bondholders' investments as part of the government's debt restructuring measures.
Attempts by the Finance Minister to cut down the bond benefits stirred agitations among bondholders, causing a near fear and panic in the banking sector.
The Individual Bondholders Forum held a consultative meeting with the Finance Minister to resolve the matter.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Senyo Hosi assured the bondholders that there will be no cuts on their investments and hoped this decision will restore their confidence.
"We shall survive. There is no problem; let everybody relax. Don't allow this to worry you again. There is no issue again. This matter is nicely resolved," he said.
