The Music Council of Ghana has called for the restructuring and strengthening of the music industry.
It says the time is ripe to run Ghana's music industry according to the standards of the International Music.
The Music council seeks to create opportunities for all and help in the nation building process through music and culture.
Ace Musician and executive member of the Council, Sloopy Mike Gyamfi says though the Council is faced with challenges such as some existing organisations refusing to join, it is aimed at bringing unity and cohesion into the music industry.
