The minority NDC in Parliament had the time of their life hooting, hollering and generally causing commotion during the President’s State of the Nation Address delivered to the August house Tuesday, February 21.
Nana Akufo-Addo delivered a grim, yet realistic assessment of the nation’s economy, with a dash of hope towards the end of his message – but the minority were not happy at all.
At the end, they complained that Akufo-Addo had misrepresented the state of the economy he inherited from Mahama to the press – but during the message, they registered their displeasure in the aforementioned ways.
At a point, they even started singing Kofi Kinaata’s famous ‘Confession’ song, shouting for Mahama to come for the steer back from Nana.
“Mahama b3 gye steer no, na Nana abr3 oo” they sang.
