Our cameras caught the NPP Member of Parliament for Lawra constituency, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo affectionately called Lawra Jay-Z, in a queue buying porridge (koko) on Friday on his way to Parliament house in Accra.
This act though exemplary is contrary to the wide-held perception about politicians who spin and spun, wine and dine whilst poverty drives the masses to settle for the ‘lowest’ and ‘affordable ’delicacies.
Meanwhile, the act is not entirely unlikely about the Lawra lawmaker as he is known for his grass root activism, a trait which doesn't appear to have been lost with his rise to office, as is in the case of other MPs.

So what is wrong with that?He was hungry.
dont be mischievous. there is nothing wrong with it. its rater a bold move.
ahhhhhhhhbah1 what is wrong with we ghanaians. our brother who was employed to work for mother ghana. he is hungry and was buying food to eat at the same place i and you (common people) buy food and we are complaining. David Cameron ride bicycle, join train etc etc, face book boss came to nigeria and was running with the boys on the street, ghana/africa what is our problem? we make our leaders to continue stealing us.
MY ONLY CONCERN IS THAT AFTER FOUR YEAR IN POWER HE SHOULD QUEUE THE SAME WAY FOR KOKO.
i believed the journalist who brought this to the social media might wondered the comments coming up. (shame)
Great one
Is very good for him to do that we are all equal humam being
trending on social media & he gets thumbs up. He is human & not superman no wonder with poverty clouded in most minds in Ghana one cannot humble themselves because buying koko is a big deal. Hmm long way to go folks.
What is the issue here?
He is human, and that comes first. Total humility on display. One's rise to fame shouldn't be the ingredient to compel u to loose touch with those who put u in that place. Eat what i eat, embrace me as u did in your struggle for power, then i will know u truly care for the poor. And that is what TONY is exhibiting!!!! BIG UPPSSS ELEPHANT!!!
