Lydia Forson was assaulted by a security officer during an altercation on Monday, with the actress filming the incident and posting it on social media.
Forson a film crew were on location when the officer came to try to get them to leave, which led to the exchange of words between the duo.
Forson was insistent during the altercation that she knew her rights and stood her ground, eventually leading to the assault.
Reaction to the video has been mixed, with some praising the actress for her bravery and others saying she overstepped her bounds.
One person obviously holding the latter view is A Plus, who took to Facebook early Tuesday to comment on the incident.
He wrote…
Some people are angry that a security officer prevented Lydia Forson from taking pictures at a particular locations without permission. The same people are angry that some people attacked a police station, killed a police officer and freed 7 suspected criminals. How many of us can go to the American Embassy or even the Togo embassy and take pictures and say “I have the right to hold my phone?”
Which security person will be happy to see people taking pictures at a place where you are not supposed to just 2 days after his colleague was shot and killed at post?
We are the same people who will turn around and post on social media that the laws don’t work. The sad part is that the #fakemediawill not condemn this.
I didn’t even post the video because of the language she used on an officer whose is only doing his job…..

that bitch is too arrogant and deserve even worst than that
I was surprise when you didn't comment on whether your wife us bleaching or not? since you like commenting and analyzing issues. A plus, can you please tell us whether your wife is bleaching or not.
let me ask ooh. was Lydia taking pictures? eei people should attack issues not her person. Even what words will make a lady or someone cry if she is stopped from taking pictures? aaaah Some personnel can manhandle u and u ask yourself what u really did to warrant that behaviour from them. some personnel handle u with professionalism. I took a shot at the flagstaff house and saw the policeman and an army personnel coming towards me. All they said was can we talk? and I said ok. jokingly they said if you take pictures from this area its not allowed because of security and i said ok. and I voluntarily offered to delete them in their presence because they were humane. insulting doesnt mean u r doing your work or I will show u where power lies or order from above. all of us are Ghananians. they will rather handle outsiders with care . God help us
A-PLUS IS A JUNK,FULL OF HATRED FOR THE LADY IN QUESTION.NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY THE WIFE BLEACHES THE BODY LIKE A MOROON.TO HELL AND BACK
My problem with these celebrities of today is that they switch job careers. They turn from Musicians to journalists, Actors to journalists and so on. That is exactly what A plus is doing. He's always on the move commenting on other people's businesses. Concentrate on ur career. ***barred word***
She did not break the law. You can take pictures of public facilities if it is not explicitly prohibited by notice. Lydia did nothing wrong and A-Plus is uneducated in these matters.
UNLESS it is stated by CLEAR VISIBLE NOTICE that you cannot take pictures of something - there IT IS NOT AGAINST THE LAW to take pictures of public facilities. A-Plus's excuse that "Which security person will be happy to see people taking pictures at a place where you are not supposed to just 2 days after his colleague was shot and killed at post?" Is the most stuppppppidddd excuse so far in 2018.
No one can go to American Embassy then togo all even the flagstaff house to take a picture with his or her phone or any camera as a Ghanaian. But u will see foreigners(whites) taking pictures and videos RIGHT in front of such places in a bright day without anyone or security man asking them to stop. I AM SAYING not yeseyese. A friend of mine lady tried and the way she was shouted at wanting to take her phone. i see them with my EYES with security men in uniform (military) who are guarding the place looking at them.though is written and pasted. As for them they have the right abi? Ghana with hypocrisy.
In America they will tell you it's a private property. The owners can tell you to leave, they will even call police on you. There is a difference between public place, and private property. Your rights end somewhere.
I have never liked A+ but as for this one i so agree with him. I like Lydia so much that i follow her on twitter but she actually goofed and acted too immature. She's still a sweetheart tho
