The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation has initiated ways to digitise all relevant sound archives in the corporation's gramophone library.
Speaking at a lecture in Accra, the Director of Radio, Mr Yaw Owusu Addo noted that the decision would help preserve the country's culture through music, ensure the continuity of the country's heritage as well as protect the intellectual property for the coming generations.
