Ghana international Harrison Afful is currently in South Africa trying out with local side Mamelodi Sundowns.
The left-back is expected to tie a permanent deal if he impresses caretaker coach Hristo Stoichkov.
The coach is believed a huge admirer of the Black Stars player after series of impressive displays at the CHAN tournament.
The 23-year-old's contract with local side Asante Kotoko expired at the end of the season last Sunday. Reports say Stoichkov is in need of a regular left back and Afful fits the bill.
