Ghanaian defender David Addy rejoined Portuguese giants Porto on Monday as they started pre-season training.
The left-back has been recalled their as his loan deal with Panetolikos expired at the end of last season.
He was among the 24 players who started their pre-season training on Monday.
Addy spent last season with the Greek side to gain some playing time after being denied the teams first choice left-back position.
But his impressive performances for relegated Panetolikos last season have prompted Porto to recall him for observation whether he can command a starting place in the team.
I dont know what will happen there (Porto) but what I want is to play regular football, Addy told MTNFootball.com.
The 22-year-old has consistently stated that more playing time with his club will help him to return to the national team.
The 2009 Under-20 World Cup winner was on loan at Portuguese top flight side Academica Coimbra two seasons ago after rejecting a move to Rio Ave.
Addy signed a three-year deal with the Portuguese champions in January 2010 from Danish side Randers FC.
He is scheduled to travel with the Porto first team to Prangins, Switzerland from 9 July to 15 July for their full pre-season session.
Addy will be subjected to medical tests on Monday afternoon.
