Hearts of Lions have lost striker Gilbert Fiamenyo to Hearts of Oak ahead of the 2012-13 season.
The season kicks off on October 7 with champions Asante Kotoko expected to put in a great deal of effort to retain the title with more signings.
Speaking to Goal.com Ghana, the CEO of the Accra giants Fred Crentsil said fans should expect some big names in the coming days as the Phobians position themselves to return to their glory days.
He said: We ended last season without any title and we dont want to repeat that in the new season. Were a big team and our fans are expecting trophies so we are working towards that.
I cant tell you the names of other players that we are going to sign, but I can assure you that we are going to have a stronger team than what you saw last season.
The former African champions have not won the domestic top flight since 2009.
