Ghana striker Jordan Ayew scored all two goals as Marseille beat Moldovan side FC Sheriff 2-1 in their Europa League play-off first leg tie on Thursday.
The 21-year-old put Marseille ahead on 18 minutes after slamming an unstoppable shot past the hostsďż˝ goalkeeper but Tomislav Pajovic levelled for the nine minutes later.
Jordan restored the lead for Elia Baups side eight minutes after the break.
Pierre-Andrea Gignac picked out Jordan early in the second half and the forward calmly finished off the attack.
His superb display comes in the wake of reports linking him to a move to English side Reading but the Premier League club have denied the move.
Jordans elder brother Andre Ayew missed the tie due to injury.
