The national under-20 team, Black Satellites have beaten their Malian counterparts by four goals to two in a penalty shoot-out after regulation time ended goalless in the ongoing African Youth Championship in Algeria.
Ghana scored their penalties through, Jeremiah Arkorful, Attama Joseph, Lawrence Lartey and Richmond Nketiah with only Francis Narh missing. Mali scored their spot kicks from Diallo Samba, and Abdoulaye Keita with Adama Niane, and Adama Mariko missing.
The Eaglets were dominant, dictating the pace of the game and had fellow West Africans Ghana playing second fiddle throughout the match.
Ghana will play Egypt on Saturday 30th March in the finals, after the Junior Pharaohs of Egypt defeated the Flying Eagles 2-0 with ENPPI forward, Mahmoud Abdel-Moneam Kahraba scoring both goals.
