AshGold were held to 2-2 draw game by relegation-threatened Berekum Arsenal in their Glo Premier league encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Arsenal took AshGold by storm early in the game, raiding the goal area of the homers and succeeded in taking the lead in 13th minutes through Akwasi Danso.
AshGold doubled their effort to level up in 38th minute when Yakubu Mohammed connected home a cross from Aaron Amoah.
The host doubled the lead four minutes later from a penalty converted by Yakubu Mohammed after Latif Mohammed was brought down in the visitors' box.
Arsenal lifted up their game in the second half and equalised three minutes after the hour mark when Frank Mintah raced deep to find Bright Kukubor who shot past goalkeeper Fatau Dauda to earn a point.
