Ghana defender John Pantsil will play in the second-tier of South African football after completing his move to Santos on Thursday.
The former Fulham player convinced the technical team about his qualities after training with the Lansdowne-based side last week.
The 32-year-old has been signed to strengthen Santos bid to gain promotion to the Premier Soccer League next season.
Promoted PSL side Polokwane City failed in their bid to sign the Ghana international and Santos took advantage.
We have concluded a deal to sign John Pantsil and are naturally delighted to have such an experienced player joining our ranks, chairman Goolam Allie told the clubs official website.
Santos are currently in seventh place on the National First Division table after five rounds of matches.
