Ghana have brought forward their arrival in Cairo for the second-leg World Cup playoff against Egypt.
The Black Stars were scheduled to arrive in the Egyptian capital on Monday a day before the game against the Pharaohs at the Air Defence Stadium.
The team has however decided to arrive on Sunday instead haven been convinced of the stable security situation in Egypt.
The Black Stars usually arrive at the location of their opposing teams in away matches days before the game to help them acclimatize.
The Ghana FA however took the decision to insulate the team from any security threat by spending minimal time in Cairo.
But following deliberations and inspections of the security situation in the Egyptian capital, the team is now comfortable arriving two days before the game.
Ghana carry a healthy advantage going into the second-leg match following a resounding 6-1 result recorded in the first encounter against Egypt in Kumasi last month.
The second-leg game will be played at the Air Defence Stadium in Cairo.
