Asante Kotoko skipper Michael Akuffo is looking forward to a midfield partnership with Wa All Stars prodigy Paul Devries Asare at the Baba Yara Stadium next season as he entreats the Porcupine hierarchy to secure the signature of the youngster.
Akuffo says the Wa All Stars winger is one of the best players in the league and would relish Asare joining the double winners as they prepare to launch another CAF Champions League campaign.
"Personally if there is a player that I would recommend to my authorities to sign for Kotoko, I would say it should be Paul Asare" Akuffo told Metro FM.
"He's the best in the league and he's one of the best I played against this season and also, he was with the CHAN team in South Africa and I saw what he could do on the ball".
"He wouldn't be a bad buy at all". Asare finished the 2013/14 league as the third joint scorer with 9 goals.
