Ghana winger Christian Atsu won the man of the match award in the Black Stars 2-1 win over South Africa on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old helped the Black Stars thump Bafana Bafana at the Estadio de Mongomo to book a place at the quarter finals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Atsu who was influential in Tuesday’s crucial tie received the prestigious award following his excellent performance for Coach Avram Grant’s side.
The Everton winger played a vital role on the flanks by sending in some agile crosses on several occasions.
This is the second time a Ghanaian player have won the award after captain Asamoah Gyan won it in last Friday’s 1-0 win over Algeria.
