Sascha Empacher, agent of Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman has confirmed a price tag between €18-20m on his client, reports in Italy has hinted.
Italian giants Roma are in a hot battle with English Champions Chelsea to secure the signature of the 20-year-old defender.
The Giallorossi are eager to replace Jose Holebas who is heading to newly promoted Premiership side Watford.
Roma coach Rudi García is therefore looking forward to substitute Holebas with the Augsburg left-back but would have to meet a price tag in a range of €18-20m to secure the services of the Ghanaian international.
“Many big European clubs are interested in Baba, but they do not want to be named. Do Augsburg want €18-20m? Yes, that can be correct," Sascha told LaRoma24
“There is a lot of competition for the player. If a side is interested, then they have to make an offer to the club.”
Rahman is currently on holidays in Ghana and is expected to sort out his future before the start of the 2015/16 season.
