Ghana has dropped 8 places down in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola ranking released on Thursday.
The Black Stars who were previously ranked 33rd have now moved to 41st on the globe.
The ranking which is the first in the year 2016 also saw Coach Avram Grant’s slipping on the Africa rankings to 4th behind Cote d’ Ivoire and Algeria and Cape-Verde.
Ghana last defeated Comoros in a World Cup qualifier in November last year.
The team is expected to play Mozambique in the 2017 Cup of Nations qualifier next month.
