Ghana is mourning the death of one of its finest technical brains Osam Duodu who died yesterday at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after battling ill health.
He was also a CAF and FIFA Instructor.
Duodu is known for winning the Africa Cup of Nations for Ghana in 1978 and 1982, he also led the national U-20 side, the Black Satellites to a double silver feat in 1993 at both the African and World Championships.
He also handled the senior national team the Black Stars at various times in 1978 -1981, 1988- 1989 and also in 2002.
Duodu acted as technical director and General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association.
He also handled the Gambian U-17 national to win the 2005 African U-17 Championship
