The midfielder has revealed his desire to play for the Black Stars again following his suspension from the outfit two years ago.
Kevin-Prince Boateng says he will grab the opportunity to represent Ghana once more after over two years of absence.
The 29-year-old, who is on fire for Spanish side Las Palmas in La Liga after scoring four goals in eight games, last played for the Black Stars at the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
The former AC Milan star was sacked from camp, together with teammate Sulley Ali Muntari, for showing "gross insubordination" towards former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of their 2-1 defeat to Portugal in the final group game.
However, he maintains not being guilty of any wrongdoing during the tournament.
"There were people who had a problem with me. I don't know for what reason," Boateng told CCTV Africa News.
"They had their reason but they made them up. I think it was not the right decision that they kicked me out [of the World Cup in 2014]."
"It is for every player a big dream to play at the World Cup. If there would be a chance to play a third World Cup I would not say no. There are not a lot of players who can say they played in three World Cups," he added.
However, Boateng needs to fulfill some conditions before a possible recall to the national team.
"Before this happens, we have to hold a lot of talks because I don’t want to go back with a bad spirit," he said.
"If I would go back, I want everything to be perfect so we can work perfect together," he added.
Boateng has been capped 15 times for Ghana, scoring two goals.

Yes we really need Kevin Prince Boateng and sully in our national team, black stars belong to Ghanaians not a group of people so the voice of Ghanaians must heard and call them back to the team,Black stars management team have to remember that they use tax payers money to run black stars so they should listening to the voice of Ghanaians and call them back.
Many Ghanaians are narrow minded. Travel small and learn other things and see other things. KP Boateng did not do anything wrong. He is doing Ghana a favor by choosing Ghana over his motherland (Germany). Germany spent over $10 million to train him and educate him. But he chose Ghana which did not contribute a dime to his upkeep. So why disgrace him the way we did? Kwasi Appiah made mistakes at the World Cup. It was wrong for him to field Christian Atsu and Jordan Ayew in the starting games. Players who had never played tough matches in their lives. Maybe someone in the FA or ministry was putting pressure on him. But that was a wrong decision. And they should live with the fact that those inexperienced players did not perform. If they had started with KP Boateng in Jordan Ayew's place and Kwadwo Asamoah in Christian Atsu's place, Ghana would not have performed so badly against USA. They did not face responsibility. And looked for a scapegoat, KP Boateng. Let us speak the truth and get a better future for our country.
Folks, the issue of Kelvin Prince Boateng has nothing to do with moneys allegedly misused by Ministers etc, so let's not mix the issues pls. If anybody stole monies belonging to the state, let's allow the law to fully take its course. Kelvin has been showing disrespect to the country Ghana and reached the height of his display of disrespect for all of us when he openly insulted the Ghanaian Black Star coach and refused to apologise before all the playing body and officials. I wonder if he would have behaved the same way, were the coach an European. If u keep such a player in your team, u can hardly ensure discipline among your players. The authorities did the right thing by sacking him. As to whether he should be brought back into the team, i think we should wait for 20 more years before we invite him again. Thanks.
You are 100% correct. The Ghanaian hates the truth. We live in a society where they always want 'Mater-Boy Servant'. But in this day and age that is long gone. They did similar thing to Adam Kwarasey for speaking the truth. They will always sideline you if you there talk about their wrongs. No wonder Sule slapped that guy. Look at the shame and the embarrassment caused the nation at Brazil yet we are here blaming Kevin Boateng for standing up for the right.
His current form is what we need..Great Play at Las Pamas He is currently the Inform Player Now,.....
Just ignore this seasoned ingrate. I hate his apology
GHANAIANS DON'T WANT THE TRUTH,KELVIN EXHIBITED GREAT SENSE OF FAITHFULNESS AND HE WAS KICK OUT BECAUSE HE SAID HIS MIND.OUR LEADERS WANT US SALUTE THEM BUT KELVIN WAS NURTURED AT A DIFFERENT BACKGROUND ALL TOGETHER SO HE KNOWS HIS RIGHT.WE NEED HIM BLACK STARS NOW COLLAPSING.
Please play your Euro football.Kevin.you cant play the am sorry card.you all want play world cup? Well no sele for you.You sold the dignity of Ghana for some measly dollars.Pitiful Day Ghana was reduced to $ 4 mill.If Nkrumah fought for cash we would still be slaves today. The purity of your sacrifice will bear you good fruit. Thank you
Looking at the situation the team is in right now I think we need him, we've just played one match against Uganda we still have matches to be played and him and Ali Sulley needed to be given another chance due to their experience and I trust that if two of them receive a call back together with the Ayews we can crash the Egyptians away.
As Kwabena Yeboah said, this Kevin guy is too opportunistic. He wants to take advantage of every situation. He knows the world cup will be around in barely 2 years time so he wants to come back.I don't think he should be accepted back into the team.I quite remember he claimed he was injured whiles at AC Milan before our friendly with England in 2012 but when he got wind of that match,he came and wanted to play, but wasn't selected. We are done with him.
